Be the One who takes a Stance
يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ادْخُلُوا فِي السِّلْمِ كَافَّةً وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ(208) ﴾
(سورة البقرة )
O you who have brought imaan, enter islaam in totality, and do not follow in the footsteps of Shaytaan indeed he is your open enemy.
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا آمنوا...{سورة النساء ١٣٦}
O you who believe, Bring imaan
In deen we can never reach a point of saturation, where we cannot improve. We should check which Sunnats we can still bring in our lives etc.
Not everything acceptable in society is necessarily correct and not everything unacceptable in society is necessarily incorrect. Nabi ﷺ brought the message of tauheed to the heartland of shirk. It was not accepted and received well. Everything was tried to silence Nabi ﷺ . Nabi ﷺ persevered, sahaaba persevered. The result was that the symbol of tauheed is now in that very place. Perseverance with ikhlaas must pay off but don't look for immediate results. Check in our families, where are we falling short in complying with the commands of Allah Taala. Then make mashwarah with an Aalim how to take a stance. Thereafter just as Nabi ﷺ and sahaaba had to make Sabr on insults etc, the same will apply. We must persevere and make Sabr. Allah Taala will show the fruits.
