Wilaayat

In the early days, sins weren’t so easily available. Therefore difficult prescriptions were given. On the other hand, in today’s times, sins are so easily available that restraint from sins requires so much effort. Therefore just by abstaining from sin, a person will gain Wilaayat. In South Africa we are making progress in the positives. There are more Huffaaz, more Ulama and more Sunnah Libaas but we are not progressing as rapidly with the negatives like abstaining from Television, gheebat, music, lies, jealousy, interest etc. Effort needs to be made on both.
