Continuing with the dialogue, the person asked for his sins to decrease, to be honoured, to have abundant sustenance and to be the friend of Allah and His Rasool (صلى الله عليه و سلم). Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) replied that he should seek forgiveness, not to complain to people in times of difficulty and calamity and he should like what Allah and His Rasool (صلى الله عليه و سلم) like and dislike what They dislike.
– Allah has definitely given us the ability to abstain from major sins otherwise it would be oppression.
– Take our problems directly to Allah, then, Allah will definitely put it in someone’s heart to assist us.
– The listener and the speaker both need to benefit from what is being said. Both are on the same journey.
